Switch on repair mode before you hand it over
Samsung and Google both build a mode into their phones that hides your photos, messages and accounts while the phone is being repaired, without wiping anything.
Samsung Galaxy · Maintenance mode
Settings → Battery and device care (on some phones, Device care) → Maintenance mode → Turn on. The phone restarts into a separate, empty profile. Exit it afterwards with your PIN or fingerprint and everything is back.
Google Pixel · Repair mode
Settings → System → Repair mode, then restart when asked. The phone opens in a clean environment for testing; leave repair mode afterwards to return to your own data.
Menu names vary slightly with software version. Back up anyway — repair modes protect privacy, but only a backup protects against every fault.

Questions
Do you repair Samsung foldables?
Call first with the exact model. The inner folding screen, the outer screen and the hinge are separate repairs with very different parts, so we check availability and quote before you come in.
How long does an Android screen or battery repair take?
Common models are often done the same day when the part is in stock. Less common phones may need a part ordered — we will tell you on the phone.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the model and the part, and part prices change often, so we quote by phone or at the counter. You hear the price before any work starts.
My phone will not charge. Is it the port?
Often, but not always. Try a different cable and charger, and look inside the USB-C port with a light — compacted pocket lint is a very common cause. If that does not help, bring it in and we will test the port and battery.
